River Lodge
Situated in the heart of the world-renowned Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park, this intimate, family-friendly camp is built on the banks of the Nhlaralumi River - a beautiful watercourse in the summer months when rain is plentiful, and a dry riverbed in the drier winter months. Shaded by age-old Jackalberry and Leadwood trees, Simbavati River Lodge is warm and welcoming, with a generous contemporary design and accommodation for guests in luxury tented rooms or thatched chalets.
Hilltop Lodge
Enjoy magnificent views of the Bush, the Nhlaralumi River and the distant foothills of the Drakensberg Mountain Range from the vantage point of the beautiful small koppie on which the lodge is situated. Accommodation is pure African safari and comprises of individual pavilion-style luxury tents arranged to create a unique village feel.
Machaton Camp
An intimate and exclusive camp offering a secluded and private safari experience. Next, to owning a private safari lodge, there is no more private way to enjoy a safari in the Timbavati. The camp consists of the main building which features a lounge, kitchen and covered verandah, as well as three individual luxury suites. Each suite offers a large en-suite bedroom, a well-appointed bathroom with an outdoor shower, a dayroom with a sumptuous daybed and a large terrace with a newly fitted plunge pool, allowing you to retreat and refresh in secluded luxury.
Camp George
A real, exclusive retreat into nature, featuring a manicured, natural garden offering an oasis of greenery amidst the khaki bushveld shades. Owing to the variety of indigenous trees in and around the camp, keen birders regularly tick off new species sightings, resident throughout the year.

The lodge offers Big 5 game activities in the early morning and late afternoon/evening, taking advantage of the time of day that the animals are naturally most active. Nocturnal creatures - including the big cats - are regular sightings at night. Currently, over 40 mammal species are listed as a resident in the Timbavati, including the Big 5 - Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant, as well as endangered species including Wild Dogs and Cheetah. There is an abundance of birdlife, with a total of 360 species of bird listed.
