Day 1: Depart to Pilanesberg
Relish the ultimate in luxury accommodation in Pilanesberg when you stay at one of the opulent game lodges and enjoy a South African safari you'll never forget. The Pilanesberg National Park, which covers some 55 000 hectares, is the fourth largest National Park in southern Africa. This malaria-free park is perched on the eroded vestiges of an alkaline volcanic crater - one of only three in the world. Take a night drive and discover some of the game that calls Pilanesberg home, you might even be lucky enough to spot the Big Five. Dusk begins to set in, and the calls of black-backed jackals fill the air. Enjoy a boma dinner under a star-packed sky and watch the roaring flames of the fire dance in the light.
OVERNIGHT: Pilanesberg
Day 2:
Awaken your senses and listen to bird calls and animals starting their days. After a scrumptious breakfast, the day is yours to enjoy. A view from above is an option as hot air ballooning over Pilanesberg is undoubtedly the best way to view the park and its wildlife. If heights are not your thing, the park has many well-appointed picnic sites. Take it slow and explore the area in your own vehicle, enjoying your packed picnic as you stop for lunch along the way. Want to get up and close to nature? Choose from many hiking trails in this ecologically diverse region to suit your pace. The guided hikes take visitors on trails through this natural wonderland, together with a knowledgeable guide who understands the terrain. A guide can track animals and through experience knows their movements through the bush.
OVERNIGHT: Pilanesberg
Day 3:
After breakfast, check out and get ready for a different kind of adventure as you hit the road to Sun City. Known as the "Kingdom of Pleasure" Sun City is situated deep in the rugged bushveld of an ancient volcano. Popular year-round, Sun City is one of Africa's premier vacation destinations. It is internationally recognised for its superb resort offering of hotels, attractions as well as world-class events. From the lavish opulence of The Palace of the Lost City to the casual elegance of the Cascades, it is a genuinely fantastic family-friendly resort destination. There is a supervised playground and dedicated kids' activity centre at Kamp Kwena. The Entertainment Centre's gaming arcade, as well as an under 18's teens' hangout, is excellent for the older kids. A must is The Valley of the Waves with its massive tidal pool, water slides and lazy river. And once you've worked up an appetite, one of Sun City's many restaurants, catering to all tastes, styles and budgets are ready to serve you. Indulge in some fine dining or grab a quick take away (or both as there is something to suit the whole family here). Come to think of it; two nights might not be enough!
OVERNIGHT: Sun City
Day 4:
It's time to burn off your breakfast as expert instructors are standing by to give you and your family the most thrilling vacation yet at Sun City's water park. Get to grips with wakeboarding or water-skiing, experience the rush of a jet ski or just have fun on the bumper boats. Even parasailing is an exciting option or later, a lazy sunset lake cruise. Channel your inner Indiana Jones as you explore the Maze of the Lost City and wander through the lush rainforest gardens and across suspension bridges.

You know the type. They'll say something along the lines of "I really miss my old Chevy Spark. This Audi SUV is so much harder to park."
Rest assured they don't miss that Chevy AT ALL. They just want you to know that they spent truckloads of cash on the latest Audi, but they want to come across as really casual because somehow that makes them cooler. Or something.
You'd think the complete lack of any complimentary responses would put an end to this type of self-appreciation, but if anything it's happening more and more.
We'd love to come up with an effective solution to it but we're waaay too busy running a successful eCommerce company to actually invest the time.
Did you know we're also getting our PhDs on the side? No big deal.
