Day 1
As you leave the hustle and bustle behind and hit the open road to freedom, you can feel your batteries re-charge as your view changes to wide public spaces. Your destination? Pure, unaltered relaxation under a canopy of luxury. Stop for lunch in Dullstroom and enjoy Harrie's Pancakes' famous sweet or savoury delights. It's then back on the road as you continue onto Hazyview. Stopping at Pilgrim's Rest, you'll feel as if you have travelled back in time. Explore this national monument town that boasts many quaint shops and museums, showcasing its gold rush heyday: next stop, Hazyview. A warm haze that rests over the area in the hot summer months creates dreamy, hazy views, after which the town was named. Surrounded by most of the province's private game reserves and bordering on the Kruger National Park, Hazyview is a launchpad for exploration.
OVERNIGHT: Hazyview
Day 2
Hazyview has a plethora of activities. Think 4x4 trips, swimming, fishing, abseiling, biking, hot air ballooning, bird watching, boating, helicopter flips, white-water rafting, rock climbing or hiking. It's virtually impossible to be bored in this neck of the woods. Meander your way along the Panorama Route on the escarpment of the awe-inspiring Drakensberg Mountains via Graskop. Visit the bizarrely shaped Bourke's Luck potholes and breath-taking viewpoints at God's Window and the Blyde River Canyon. This is some of Africa's most spectacular scenery.
OVERNIGHT: Hazyview
Day 3
The biggest game reserve in South Africa, the Kruger National Park is larger than some small countries with almost 2 million hectares of land that stretch for 352 kilometres (20 000 square kilometres) from north to south along the Mozambique border. This is South Africa's pride and joy and offers almost indescribable wildlife experience. Pause for some time and take in some of the best views of the vast landscapes within the Kruger National Park, while watching for wildlife to visit the water's edge to drink. The bushveld has a leisurely rhythm and animals take turns visiting the waterhole. If you stay long enough and quiet enough, you'll notice that animals that were previously camouflaged or hidden in the shadows come out as they waited out the heat of the day.
OVERNIGHT: Kruger National Park
Day 4
Wake up to the sounds of the bush moving as animals greet the day. Get an early start to the day and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells that accompany the dawning of a new day. Africa's most exceptional animals are waiting to be spotted. Bird viewing is particularly interesting in this area with a combination of typical bushveld, numerous watering holes and open plains allowing for the abundant bird diversity. Have your binoculars ready with over 500 species to look out for.
OVERNIGHT: Kruger National Park
Day 5
The allure of possibly seeing the Big 5 to is too tempting and the earlier you get out to try and spot them, the better. After a caffeine fix and a light snack, it's time to head out with knowledgeable rangers and trackers. As the animals start to go about their day, you are the first to get a sneak peek. Enjoy a bushveld picnic and later a dusk game drive to discover the nocturnal wildlife take centre stage. Watch the sky change from blue to pink and orange as it lights up with magnificent stars.
OVERNIGHT: Kruger National Park
Day 6
Nothing can beat the excitement of tracking rhino, elephant and lion on foot through the bush. It is one of the most incredible ways to learn about the fragility of the ecosystems of the Kruger Park, as well as discover the smaller animals and insects of the park. Bushwalks can last most of the day, so be sure to take water, a sunhat and some snacks to keep you going.
OVERNIGHT: Kruger National Park

Tamboti Tented Camp
Tamboti tented camp is a small camp situated on the banks of the Timbavati River, on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park, approximately 2km east of Orpen Rest Camp. Due to the size and location of this camp, Tamboti is one of the most popular camps in the Park. A great feature is a boma, which makes it ideal for small groups of people to gather around the campfire and relive the animal sightings of the day. For the birding enthusiasts, Tamboti offers a bird hide in which to spend hours looking for that exclusive raptor that has up to now eluded you. The natural bush feeling is kept inside the camp, which has the result of emphasising guest privacy.

You know the type. They'll say something along the lines of "I really miss my old Chevy Spark. This Audi SUV is so much harder to park."
Rest assured they don't miss that Chevy AT ALL. They just want you to know that they spent truckloads of cash on the latest Audi, but they want to come across as really casual because somehow that makes them cooler. Or something.
You'd think the complete lack of any complimentary responses would put an end to this type of self-appreciation, but if anything it's happening more and more.
We'd love to come up with an effective solution to it but we're waaay too busy running a successful eCommerce company to actually invest the time.
Did you know we're also getting our PhDs on the side? No big deal.
