About

The Capstone has always been an important wine within the Reyneke range, with the proceeds of the wine helping the farmworkers and their families. The workers being
the cornerstone of the business. The components consist of 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 27% Cabernet Franc. An intense sorting process of bunch selection and berry selection ensures that the best fruit from our Biodynamic vineyards are selected. Fermentation takes place in concrete Nomblot fermentors. The wine spends
18 months in French oak barrels, 30% new and 70% second and third-fill. An additional 4months in tank, after barrel selection and then left in bottle to mature before being released.

Product Features
  • This classical Bordeaux style blend combines freshness with a real intense concentration showcasing the best of Stellenbosch.
  • The wine presents with perfume, cassis, dark fruit and spicy nuances. Undertones of tobacco leaf and blackcurrant are what ads more to a defined graphite minerality. This wine has a lovely balance, with structured tannins, which are linear and focused.
  • The Capstone 2015 has an ageing potential of 7 to 10 years.
  • Platter 2019: 4 Star
  • Tim Atkins 2018: 92 Points

Yeah... no

We're not sure if you've noticed, but there a great many very different deals on today.

That means each of 'em will need their own witty blurb, and well, that's really way more than we'd like to write.

Not that it matters seeing as not being able to unionise sort-of limits your options.

So, we're doing what any motivated slacker (talk about paradoxes) would've done and figuring out the easiest route to keeping everyone happy (mostly).

No luck yet, but here's hoping.

We're effectively combining the excitement of writing words with just sitting here.

Is it working?

We'll take that as a yes.
