Founded in 1963, Nuy Winery was built on only one cornerstone: Quality
At Nuy, our goal is to steadfastly produce bottle after bottle of wine… wine of true character… We purposely run a limited operation here, in order to ensure that every part of the winemaking process is done under a watchful, experienced eye. So close your eyes uncork a bottle of Nuy and breathe in that character that sets our wines apart.
The name Calcareo derives from the Latin word meaning “chalky soil” and acknowledges the lime-rich soil in which the vineyards grow in the beautiful Nuy Valley between Worcester and Robertson in the Western Cape.
This wine is an impressive 4-way blend - 48% Chenin, 20% Chardonnay, 17% Semillon, 15% Viognier, giving biscuit tones to complex, lingering stonefruit and citrus aromas and flavours. This wine could age well for up to 5 years.
We're not sure if you've noticed, but there a great many very different deals on today.
That means each of 'em will need their own witty blurb, and well, that's really way more than we'd like to write.
Not that it matters seeing as not being able to unionise sort-of limits your options.
So, we're doing what any motivated slacker (talk about paradoxes) would've done and figuring out the easiest route to keeping everyone happy (mostly).
No luck yet, but here's hoping.
We're effectively combining the excitement of writing words with just sitting here.
Is it working?
We'll take that as a yes.
