Product Features

Live Block

• Lets you instantly access ROLI Studio tools like Smart Chords and Multi-Layered Arpeggiator, all at the touch of a button.
• The Live Block is for performance. When you’re playing live — whether on stage or in your favorite chair — every second counts. The buttons let you switch scales and octaves, trigger chords and arpeggios, and sustain notes in real time.
• Live Block connects with a click to Lightpad Block or Seaboard Block. Just lift one finger from your musical surface, and you can adjust performance parameters in real time. Connect it to any part of Lightpad Block or Seaboard Block — or not at all. Live Block works wirelessly, even when it’s not physically connected.

Loop Block

• Loop Block improves your workflow by giving you instant access to the DAW features you use most. Record loops and play them back. Set your tempo, and quantize your loops so they’re always in time. Loop Block integrates seamlessly with Logic Pro and GarageBand, but you can map the buttons onto any DAW.
• The Loop Block is for producing. It puts studio techniques for recording and editing music at your fingertips. The buttons help you record a loop or sequence and play it back. They let you set your tempo and quantize your recorded loops so they run in time with the beat.
• Loop Block connects with a click to Lightpad Block and Seaboard Block. Just lift one finger from your musical surface, and you can record and fine-tune tracks in real time. Connect it to any part of Lightpad Block or Seaboard Block — or not all. Loop Block works wirelessly, even when it’s not physically connected.

Touch Block

• Touch Block helps you adjust the expressive behavior of your Seaboard Block and Lightpad Block. Turn up or turn down the responsiveness of the surface to the Strike, Glide, Slide, Press, and Lift dimensions of touch. Maximize the depth of expression available through pressure, or minimize the pitch-bend effect of sideways movements. Customize your control of any sound in real time and on the fly.
• Adjust the expression of BLOCKS in real time with controls over 5 Dimensions of Touch.
