About

Bergsig Estate is situated in one of South Africa’s most picturesque wine valleys: the Breedekloof Wine Valley. Situated at the foot of two big mountain ranges - the Drakenstein and the Hex River Mountains - our vines are fed by water accumulated from mountain streams which can run throughout summer, as these mountains are often snow-capped in winter, storing a life source until the sun melts it into much-needed water for our grapes.

Product Features
  • This Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant wine with a deep garnet colour.
  • Traditional cigar box and blackcurrant flavours are complemented by complex layers of rich dark- spice smokiness that developed during months of maturation in new French Oaks Barrels.
  • The Bergsig  Reserve Cabernet is a selection of our finest barrels. The juice was pumped over the skins during fermentation to extract maximum colour and flavour. The wine developed during ± 28 months maturation in new French Oak Barrels
  • Enjoy with roasts and hearty flavourful casseroles.
  • Awards: Wine of the month 2019 Ranked 1 st, Michelangelo International Awards 2017 Grand D’Or Gold, Platter’s Wine Guide 2018 4 Star

We're big believers in retail therapy

The stats we're presenting here are based purely on our staff, who make up a tiny percentage of the general population, but they tell us that 100% of our staff that ordered something online exhibited signs of excitement when that thing was delivered.

We know the saying "Money can't buy happiness", but you don't often see someone crying on a jetski - and not just because all that water splashing around would make it hard to identify the tears in the first place.

Although we do have to ask: if our savings are this good, shouldn't we be calling it discount therapy instead?
