About

Throughout his many travels around the globe, South African golfer, Ernie Els, has been exposed to and appreciated some of the world’s greatest wines. In 1999, he decided to pursue his developed passion for fine wine with the creation of Ernie Els Wines. Ernie befittingly chose Stellenbosch, the noble heart of South African wine, in which to base his operation and officially opened the cellar in December 2004. Louis Strydom, the winemaker, has been alongside Ernie on this journey and has been crafting Ernie Els Wines since 2000. During this time, not only has he continued to distinguish himself as an exceptionally gifted winemaker, but he has also been appointed as the Managing Director. His understanding of the terroir, as well as the Helderberg region, have been a key ingredient in the success of these wines.

Product Features
  • 2018 is very light in colour and body, but shows fine concentration from the dry 2018 vintage.
  • Spellbinding notes of passion fruit and fig excite the nose, while hints of orange blossom and minerals give complexity.
  • It is richly textured and dry, with a nicely balanced tropical fruit core and citrus edge.
  • Gentle notes of crème de cassis give extra depth to a serious, yet generous palate.
  • It is linear in style, with a spine of fresh acidity that carries layers of long-lasting fruit.
  •  Pair with white meat dishes or Mediterranean-inspired platters

We'd bet anything that the poncho was designed by a man

And you know how we know this?

Simple: it's simple. Cut a hole in a piece of fabric and call it a day simple.

The poncho is the clothing equivalent of the Japanese flag. If we were to list step-by-step instructions on how to make one yourself, there'd be no Step Two.

If you're wondering how this ties into today's deals, it doesn't. These are just the things we think about when we're tasked with writing blurbs but we're completely out of inspiration.
