About

In 1967, on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzanite was discovered and to this day it remains the only known supply in the world. Estimated to only have 10 to 12 years left of mining reserves; Tanzanite is therefore considered to be at least a 1000 times rarer than diamonds and is rightly placed amongst the most precious of precious gemstones.

This marvellous stone has a unique trilogy of colour, radiating hues of violet and blue and some very fine quality stones will even have a fiery red! Similar to diamonds, tanzanite is also graded according to colour, cut and clarity. All customers can rest assured that all our tanzanite stones are graded for authenticity and originate from a conflict free source. All stones comply with the South African Jewellery Council guideline requirements and are ethically sourced.

Making a cup of tea for someone is a more complicated process than you first think

Which way are we leaning: Rooibos or regular? Milk: yes or no? The standard sugar inquiry, a two-part question if the first answer is yes.

And if you have your black belt in tea-making, one final question concerning the tea bag: in or out?

How are you supposed to remember that all if you're making tea for, oh say, 3 people?

It doesn't concern today's deals at all, but we had to think about something while we waited for the kettle to boil.
