Moderate conditions at harvest enhanced elegance in this wine. Typically aromatic leaning more towards opulent spice and luscious black fruit with soft tannins and acid providing a balanced structure. Carefully judged new oak contributes to complexity whilst not masking the more delicate aspects and extended 5 months in barrel allows for seamless integration

Product Features

• Cellar door: De-stemmed, whole berry with cold soak for up to 5 days 
• Fermentation: Combination of wild yeast in large oak vats and with selected yeasts in closed stainless steel red wine fermenters. 
• Post-fermentation 5 separate batches taken separately to barrel. 
• Maturation: Individual batches are matured for 10 months, then racked and barrel selection is carried out before being returned to barrel for a further 5 months to amalgamate before assemblage.
• Drinking magnificently but can develop for another 2-3 years
• Vintage: 2015
