The beautiful Elgin Valley is a cool climate high inland plateau, completely surrounded by mountains. Just 70km from Cape Town, South Africa, it is rapidly gaining a reputation for the production of premium quality wines. We are slowly unlocking the secret of the Elgin Valley. The range of wines are designed to be fresh, pure, fruit-driven, light and accessible with all the fundamentals of premium wine whilst still showcasing the unique profile from the Elgin Valley.

- It's all about strawberries and cherries, some citrus notes with a fresh and pure profile.
- Linear, tight with red fruit and beautifully soft texture with a long pure finish.
- 30% Whole bunch fermented 10 days cold soaking before fermentation. Spontaneous fermentation in small open fermenters.
- 10 months in 228L, 300L and 500L 'untoasted barrels. All 2nd, 3rd4th fill. Oak from forest Pierre du Bourgogne. Barrels are custom made for La Brune by Nico and Bruno Lorenzon.
